ＴＥＸＡＳ Ａ＆Ｍ 国際大学が来訪
7月23日、テキサス州最古の高等教育機関として学生約5万人が在籍するＴＥＸＡＳ Ａ＆Ｍ国際大学のコミュニケーション障害学専攻の学生11名と引率2名が成田キャンパスを来訪しました。あいにく期末テストの期間中で、教員と大学院生による情報交換となりました。3学部の施設見学では、設備や検査機器の豊富さに感嘆の声を上げていました。本学科に留学したいという学生がいて、短期留学制度やカリキュラムについて質問がありました。まずは日本語を勉強して、いつか再会する日がくるかもしれません。
Eleven students majoring in communication sciences and disorders at Texas A&M International University visited Narita Campus on July 23rd for several hours as part of 'Study Abroad Trip to Asia'. The students seemed to be excited not only about IUHW curriculum focused on developing best services for those who have speech, language, and/or hearing disorders but also to learn and experience cultures of Japan, China and Thailand with all their senses. They ate hamburgers only once during eight days of trip in Japan.
