International Exchange

The International University of Health and Welfare has been engaging in multilateral international exchange for many years. The four-week or longer clinical training scheduled for School of Medicine students in their sixth year will be conducted at overseas universities, institutions, hospitals, and so on, based on the university's international cooperation agreements.

We have created revolutionary cooperative relationships with Southeast Asian countries, and our international exchange activities with countries in the region involves not only personnel exchange involving teaching staff, technicians, students, and so on, but also a large number of other projects in which personnel from our university have managed to demonstrate their resourcefulness.

With the scheduled opening of our School of Medicine we have concluded agreements concerning the intake of international students with governments and universities in Vietnam, Myanmar, Mongolia, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Laos.
